Osita is the search-marketing practice of Ryan Davis, LLC. This policy covers www.osita.agency and the free Website Health Report you can request from it. Questions go through the form on our walkthrough page.

What we collect

When you request a Website Health Report we collect the details you type into the form: your email address, your website address, and your first name if you give it. With the request we also record your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page you came from and the time.

When you browse the site our server records the pages you visit, your IP address and your browser's user agent. The site sets no cookies.

What we use it for

We use your website address to run the audit, your email address to send you the report, and your first name to address that email. We use your IP address to limit repeat requests and to stop automated abuse. We read the requests ourselves so we can follow up on any that fail.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If you reply to the report or use the link in it to ask for a walkthrough, we will write back.

Who helps us run the audit

We share only what each service needs:

  • Amazon Web Services sends the report email, so it receives your email address and the email.
  • DataForSEO, Google PageSpeed Insights and Sucuri SiteCheck receive your website address to measure rankings, links, speed and security.
  • Anthropic receives your website address and the measured results to help write the report in plain language. It does not receive your email address or name.
  • UpCloud hosts our servers.

The report email contains a small image that tells us when it has been opened. The report page uses Google Tag Manager to measure how reports are read.

Your report

Your report is published at a private web address that only you receive. It is not linked from our site. Anyone you share that address with can open it.

How long we keep it

We keep audit requests and reports for 24 months and then delete them. Server logs are kept for up to 3 years for security. Backups of the website are kept for up to 14 weeks.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, including your report. Use the form on our walkthrough page and we will answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
